A Little Something About Us
Prairie AcScents is a family run business. I was
frustrated with store bought candles because they did not
have a lot of scent, they left black soot marks and many
tunneled down the middle of the candle. Because I am a
farmer's wife and also a farmer's daughter, I decided to
try soy wax! I absolutely love it and found that it makes
the most wonderful candles and body products. Not only
are they healthier to burn for you and the environment--
they help support America's backbone--------------
the American farmer!
My family is most important to me, so I like the fact
that I am able to run this business and be here at home
for my children and husband. All of our candles are
handpoured, in small batches to ensure quality.
I make all of our products here on our family farm.
My kids love helping with labeling and "wick sticking"!
